Richmond County Sheriff’s Office received information that an absconded sex offender was living in downtown Augusta.

Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an absconded sex offender who was reported to be living in downtown Augusta.
Vandus Derrell Robinson is reported to be an absconder from Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. He was recently spotted on the 200 block of Broad St. in Augusta, GA. Columbia County has warrants issued on him and there are charges pending in Richmond County.
Robinson is described as a 32 year old black male, five feet nine inches tall, weighting 160 pounds. He was convicted of sexual assault in Georgia in 1996 .
